Sandgate Cup – Saturday 22nd April 2023
Congratulation to these Champs – Paul Cunnington and John Alner with a net of 68 whoo hoo. There will have to be a play off – but we are all so happy for your fantastic achievement.
Saturday was an amazing day. The weather was not the kindest whilst sunny, a cool breeze pervaded, causing many golf balls to mis-behave.
The day was made perfect by the amazing work of the greens staff a huge thankyou to Vince Bold, Kevin Green, Bryan Morgan, Ray Morris, Andy Coller, if i have missed anyone I apologise – let me know and I’ll add you.
Reckon Brett (behind the bar) Forrest worked the hardest on the day. As always being the most supportive and kindest person around = all whilst supplying the ‘rowdy’ ones with drinks.
Lizz Helson and Bryan Morgan worked the second hardest on the day providing and preparing Breakfast rolls from 5.30 am onwards and then ‘jumping in’ to prepare and cook Burgers for lunch. Bryan you are a champ on that BBQ – a huge thankyou. Totally exhausted that night
