100 + Years of Golf

Welcome to Sandgate Golf Club. Established in 1921. Our beautiful waterside facility is one of Queensland’s oldest nine-hole golf courses in a natural setting. We are located 16km from Brisbane’s CBD and only 15 minutes from Brisbane’s International Airport, and the Shorncliffe Railway station is next door.

Our golf course and clubhouse facilities are open to social golfers after 11am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and after 3pm on Saturdays (following club competitions). On most Fridays and Sundays the course has availability for social golfers.

We are a community Golf Club, offering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to all.

Course: Open. Use of carts allowed. Bunkers are in play .”Preferred Lie” of one card length using the marking process is allowed in the general area (through the green).

Next Project Day: 4 Ball Ambrose… Club’s AGM Sunday 10 December. Time sheet is at the Clubhouse. 10.30am shot-gun start and BBQ to follow.

ALL Ambrose fees are now $20 Each for all.
Social play is available after 3:15pm.

Motorised Carts must avoid new work and remain 10 metres from all greens at all times
